To celebrate our Conscious Cyber Week; I wanted to highlight some of my favourite brands for Small Business Saturday & Sunday, and hopefully lend you a hand with that Christmas gift list that you've been meaning to write!
Maranta
Just wait until you set your eyes on the gorgeous dried floral bouquets that Maranta has to offer. I previously purchased one for myself, and they are even more beautiful in person! Based in Devon, owner Mary has combined her background as a florist with her love for travelling, bringing us such a divine collection. There are also some beautiful macrame ornaments and handwoven baskets to look out for.
Adesha Beauty
Sharon Ade is the small business owner behind this clean beauty brand, whose recipe combinations are earthy and dreamy. The Plaintain & Oat Soap Bar and the Mango & Pineapple Cream, are both firm favourites in my household - the scents are definitely yummy! Adesha Beauty continues to put a western twist on West African staple ingredients.
Bouji Bébé
For neutral lovers who want their little ones to adopt a minimalist style, Bouji Bébé offer a curation of brands in one place, so that you have more time to focus on taking cute pics of your babes in their outfits! My baby girl always looks cosy in her waffle knit jumper from this Buckinghamshire based brand.
Ahyoka
How much do I love Ahyoka? Let's just say that I'd be lost without their African Black Soap! Bringing their African and Caribbean roots together, and taking us along on journeys to Ghana with them - where some of their much loved ingredients are sourced of course - owners, Natasia & James have brought all the goodness right here to us in the UK. My husband and I are both repeat customers when it comes to their Shea Butter & I love the simplicity of their packaging.
BfefBo
Not only do these sponges look stylish in your kitchen with their nude colour palette, their finest property is that they are ever so sustainable! They are made from natural plants and coconut oil, making them 100% biodegradable. Since using one of these, we haven't gone back to the old sponges we were use to - definitely the future!
Télle Moi
I was so impressed by the quality of these vegan gel polishes, that I've been telling anyone who will listen about them! I have the shades 'Man Down Mocha' and 'Ada Bloom', and they paint onto your nails so smoothly, with a low odour as an added benefit. Télle Moi's owner, Natel Allen, often takes us behind the scenes of the day to day of running her business and it's safe to say that she has finally found that 'nude polish' to suit brown skin tones that inspired her to start her business!
Behind each small business is usually one or two people wearing a thousand different hats, who appreciate every single order placed. Let's make a conscious effort to support and appreciate all of their hard work by adding them to our Wishlist's this Christmas!
